Nice. DDG is a sexy ship. I live in Maine not far from Bath Iron Works (BIW) where about 1/2 of the DDG's are built. Almost got a job there as a machinist a few times but I turned them down. They lay off too often. They live from contract to contract. They are working on the 2nd and 3rd DDX right now. Not sure if there are any DDGs going at the moment at BIW.

If you blow your ASVAB away, they'll try to press you to be a nuke. If you're smart, you refuse, and CT is the next thing they push. This guy gets to walk around and play with guns instead of staring at a panel, 6 hours on, 6 hours off, every other day, when in port.

Fun fact: nukes are all volunteer ratings b/c there's so much stupid/borderline legal horseshit involved, so no one is forced to be a nuke for "needs of the Navy."
