talk me out of buying a strider knife k
Why do you need it?
>>32489441
Don do it
>>32489441
how many knives have you lost in the past?
>>32489441
Looks mallninja af desu senpai
>>32489441
If you spend $600 on a knife, you're stupid.
If you spend $600 on THAT knife, you're fucking stupid.
>>32489441
>$600 on a fucking blade
nope, here you go OP
buy 200 of them if you want, only $15 bucks
Google search and read up on how much a shit stain Mickey ("Mick strider") Ray Burger really is
>>32489441
you can buy a $50 knife with that and then buy a glock too
Never played with one so I can't attest to quality but in general if you are spending above $250 on a knife it's for the ornamentation and custom look. If that's your thing, go for it.
Personally I'd rather have three $200 knives.
>>32489490
possibly job related and for EDC maybe, and seems like i always need to use a knife and as utility tool
>>32489501
none, senpai will by my 1st
>>32489630
just buy a 200$ knife instead. If you need one as a utility tool for prying, cutting, crowbaring, etc, buy an ontario 498 and check your state's knife laws.
>>32489441
>$600
>Serrated spine
>Frame lock
Do you enjoy throwing money away?
You could buy like two sebenzas for that
Are you good at not losing shit? How old are you. I recommend getting a decent cheap knife and if you keep it around or get sick of the lower quality steel than make the leap forward onto higher quality knifes. I had a zero tolerance 0350 that was pure sex till some fag stole it from my work locker. Now I carry an onterio rat 2 since I cut bags with metal alloys in them which is rough of the knife so I would feel bad to fuck up a spendy knife

What >>32489579 said.
The knives themselves are good and I'm all for high-end knives, but I don't want to give my money to Mick.
Maybe consider a TAD Dauntless or Hinderer Half Track if you want a big chunky high-end production folder. You're also getting into the range of real customs or at least midtechs at $600, but I don't know that scene well enough to name names.
>>32489699
>$600
Money is relative
>Serrated spine
So? Keep your thumb on the ramp where it belongs
>Frame lock

>>32489441
Mick strider is a lying piece of shit
Do some googling
I'm all for expensive knives. But I don't support shitbags
>>32489441
What does this knife do that you couldn't do with the 7 decent multitools you could buy for roughly the same cost?
>>32489441
Have you ever heard of the Law of Diminishing Returns?
>>32489441
>stolen valor knife
>$600
If you're looking for a collectable that holds it's value Stryder isn't the way to go.
If you like it and have $600 to blow, go for it.
>>32489441
Man, I was shopping for expensive knives while I couldn't sleep, too. I suppose this is a bad idea? The most expensive knife I have now is a Emerson mini cqb.
>>32493355
If $600 is expensive to you then I would say it's a bad idea.
>>32489441
>Do you like it?
>Do you have the money?
Those are the only two question you have to ask, and fuck everybody opinions, even if what you want to buy is objectively garbage.
>>32493294
>lifetime tricare
>valor
There is no folding pocket.knife made from regular materials used in knife making that is worth 600 dollars......buy yourself a case, a buck, and a kershaw. Then you have a selection.......a 30 dollar kershaw is the dest.deal going for a foldable knife
>>32489441
Either buy something more expensive that's better because you know $600 isn't enough for metal.
Or get something less expensive donate a few hundred to a charity.
Regardless, I hope you lose it because you're a ridiculous bitch.
>>32489643
>Will be my first
Yeah just buy a $20 knife so you can use and abuse it. After all it's just a sharp piece of metal. It will work fine for most things you have to do.
>>32493465
>Those are the only two question you have to ask
No, they are not.
>even if what you want to buy is objectively garbage
This is just silly talk. If people consumed like this we would all be driving 1970s Ferraris and eating ice cream for breakfast.
