I've never seen any real hate for this gun on /k/. Maybe the occasional joke that you can use it as a bludgeon when you run out of ammo, but people more or less seem to respect or at least tolerate Hi Point C9s for being rugged and reliable enough. I see far more criticism directed towards Jimenez, Jennings, etc.
