Let's settle this once and for all.
>>32484833
Yamatos crew starves on the sea, while 65 000 tons worth of Marines just wait it out on land, preventing any attempt of resupply by the ships crew.
>>32484884
so the marines win again. sweet
>>32484884
The twist: 65k tons of marines are on a pacific island and have to be supplied by boats.
>>32484833
This one confuses me.
Why can't I just fight the stick like I used too?
The ENTIRETY of the People's Liberation Army of China vs pic related.
Who wins?
That's a lot of marines.
>>32484923
>Yamato raids supply ships
>Nips reject Amerilard rations and starve to death anyway
All it takes is one marine to break the ship in half
>>32485074
Then you have 2 ship. Ship win again!
>>32484833
There are so many fucking problems with this. You need some sort of parameters.
Ammo
Equipment
Battlefield
Supplies
Etc.
Until then, every response to the question requires the repliers to design a scenario in which the side they think would win can win.
>>32484980
kek
>>32484833
a single USMC marine is worth 3 soldiers, we are Americas deadyiest weapon and we would take the fight to the enmany and kick there bitchpussy asses because we are a brotherhood that can overcome anything that stands in our way
so we win
The deadliest thing is a marine with his rifle so we only need one marine with his sniper gun to shoot a bullet at the yamoto. the marine sniper is so strong the bullet would probably pass through the ship and sink it.
or the sniper could curve the bullet to cause it to bounce around inside the yamota and basically rip apart its inside.
>>32484833
Can someone please create
>the Sun
>vs the Sun's weight in Yamatos
So, a little back of the napkin math here, the Yamato's weight in marines is somewhere between 400000 and 600000 guys. You could pretty much accomplish any task with that many dudes. (the number spread was if I gave every guy 100lbs of equipment).
>>32486019
But every Marine is no longer a rifleman, but a carbineperson.
>>32486053
Did you just FUCKING assume my mos?
>>32486004
I like to troll the Army too man. But be subtle.
Or is this pretending to be an idiot Marine so "lol dumb muhreen!".
>>32486053
Not what my dd214 says champ.
0311 Rifleman.
>>32486004
>a single USMC is worth 3 soldiers
Do you like your eggs runny then? Because the only soldier a USMC marine is worth is those toasted ones the British stick in their boiled eggs.
>>32486095
I'm so sorry, please tell me you're using your GI bill at least.
>>32486095
It was a joke about the Marines switching to the M4, and about the SJW shit now being pushed in the military
At least >>32486063 got it
>>32486070
>>32486108
Lol fuck off never surve britcums
i read on /pol/ that eurpe is now like 36% muslm LOL
???
>>32486119
Of course foolio. I'm on winter break.
>>32486127
No shit?
I'm aware. They didn't change the Mos for rifleman or mortarmen however. Because it's part of the institution. So I see what you tried to do, but because I know more, I just thought you did a poor job.
>>32486052
I did similar math. I said every guy weighed 250 pounds. Came out to 520,000 or something.
That's a lot of fucking dudes.
>>32486162
>No shit? I'm aware.
Your first reply suggested otherwise
>>32486004
Why can't Marines stop talking about being Marines?
>>32488192
Because it's a thread that's partly about marines.
>>32484980
What are they gonna do? Cut the electricity? Now it's just stairs
>>32486053
The pronoun should be marine
That many Marines would have air units available because the USMC is as a dangling naval appendage.
Yamato didn't come with accessories and was sunk in result. Had it completed its mission it would have been beached as a short battery. On Okinawa. Fighting against Marines but somewhat masked by terrain.
Marines, having the Navy as adult supervision from CONUS by radio even if isolated, would be informed to shell the soft spots and try to drop one down the funnel until Marine air support turned Yamato to scrap.
>>32486019
nope, usmc snipers dont use .22
>>32488259
>Cut the electricity?
Then they won't work and the nips will be trapped
>>32488259
HELL stairs
do the marines have equipment? does their equipment count towards the weight total?
or is this 65,000 tons of nude marines
>>32490157
>implying marines need anything but their tallywhackers to defeat a foe
>>32486004
Calm down motor T reservist
>Navy dumps thousands of Marines on the Yamato this sinking it
The Marines truley are the best fighting force in the world.
>>32484884
>65,000 tons of marines
so like 50?
>>32490343
>drop bomb on Yamato deck
>ducking Jap soldiers look up when it doesn't detonate
>start prodding the bomb casing
>it pops open like a trojan horse
>it's filled with marines
>they shout about how much better they are than the army until all Japanese die of boredom
>mission accomplished
>>32486040
Yamatos, obviously.
