These are nice guns, especially in .380, but the handle is pretty thick, may as well carry a Cz 75 compact. Still would like to get one in 9mm makarov and 380, and I like that they can be carried condition 1.

They are not Rad at all.
Even with new springs the trigger is awful.

Not bad at all, u gotta disassemble it first and Polish the feed ramp and then make sure you don't limp wrist is since direct blowback action and you'll be fine. Shot steel, brass, aluminum, all type of casing and projectiles through it. It's also rated to +p I believe. One of my favorite little guns and the warranty is a no Brainer

Depends on how much they want for it, but generally-speaking, these days Mosins aren't worth it anymore.

A big part of what made Mosins so great was that they were CHEAP and shot cheap ammo.

For $80, you'd be a fool not to own one.

For $250, they're just not that great for what they are (a bolt-action centerfire rifle chambered in a full-power round). The ergonomics are bad and the recoil is also pretty bad for a gun as heavy as it is. Also x54r isn't as cheap or easy to come by as it used to be

If you specifically want a Mosin because they're cool (and it's a cool gun with a lot of history behind it), go for it.

If you want it because it's become the meme entry-level gun, just be aware that that's fueled by a time when they were sub-$100.

Now they're in a price bracket where, for slightly more/the same price, you could get a modern bolt-gun that's superior in every way.

Or you could go the route I did and scour pawn shops for used bolt guns. Snagged a Winchester Model 70 with a custom ported barrel and NICE glass on it for $350. The scope that came attached to it retails $500.

I love my P64. I use it as an occasional cargo pocket CC in the summer, as a backup on my chest rig (it fits in a SADF pocket perfectly) and as an occasional CC.

The DA is a fucking bitch, but if I replace some parts it'd be much smoother.

Bought a JA9 for...well, basically it's an impulse buy. Bought one for 99 bucks.

I'm a left hand shooter so the safety kinda suck. The gun also is also kinda rough on hand (between rough metal finishing and shit plastic grip) it's not the comfiest gun I had. But it shoots well (prolly about 3 stoppages after like 100 or so rounds, and I'm using a relatively cheap ammo) l,the sight is pretty decent, prolly about as good as a glock while being at least 1/4 the price

I gonna do something about that cheap grip and prolly a new trigger.
