What does /k/ think of the P99? Anyone here own one?
Shit gun. Might as well buy a Taurus.

I like mine. Compact, light, and accurate.

Nice Mononoke filter, Prisma bro

>MFW I have the fullsize and compact version
>>32455013
I have a P99 and PPQ M2. Both are good, but I prefer the P99 a bit more.
>>32456591
How do the triggers and ergonomics compare? Been thinking about picking one of them up, but I can't find good reviews of the P99.

I love mine, feels amazing in the hand, has the lovely paddle magazine release, plus Space Cowboy via Jet.
Also great if you're hipster trash like me.
I want to try one, I've always liked the pre-2004 version with the ski hump on the trigger guard.

I'm also curious about >>32456634
I've been looking towards getting one of the two, but I've only been able to find PPQs at my LGSs

DA trigger is smooth and like 8 lbs
AS trigger is smooth and like 5 lbs
SA trigger is much crisper than a PPQ imo and reset is much much shorter
>>32458744
Pretty much going to have to get your LGS to order you a P99.

This is why a P99 is on my short list of funs, right after a Jericho.
meme gun

I almost bought one but went with a P2000 instead

Neat.
I like mine. It's a compact gun that rivals my TT33 in size, it's as easy to maintain and clean as a Glock, has sweet futuristic looks, and points oddly well. My only complaints are that the trigger breaks all the way at the back, and that the grip feels too small and skinny, but that's just preference.
I'm also horribly salty that these LDI BA-6 lasers are impossible to find. I want pic related as my CCW.
Love it, except only magazines ive ever found have shitty plastic buttplates, ive had two of em break.

That wood back strap looks terrible. Like a Toyota with fake wood grain on the dash
>>32457066
Jet used a P99? I never noticed lol
kind of a small gun for such a giant
>>32462674
Hey, I kinda like it. There's also backstraps that are carve-to-fit, which is nice. It's the laser that I'm pissy about. They're not being made anymore.
>>32462689
It's unique, I'll give you that
How easy is the slide release to reach with the left hand?
I liked holding it.
But something feels off when shooting it. I cannot for the life of me shoot it accurately. Or well, only shot like 3 mags through it, but it was not a good experience.
So yeah, I'd recommend try before you buy.

I have one, OP. I also had a VP9. I still have the P99, and sold the VP9 to a co-worker.
It feels like it was made for your hand, and is fun to take to the range, as well as use for EDC.
I'm currently debating getting a P99C to go with it; I like the design that much. If I had to voice a complaint, the only thing I could say is that it's not as easy to find accessories for, compared to newer or more-popular firearms. They exist, but you tend to have to special order tham online, instead of stumbling across them in your local gun shop.
