Southeast Winter Meet 2017 (Part III)

Rules

These are all pretty self explanatory since everyone will be grown ass adults.

- Safety (I cannot fucking stress this enough)
The last thing I need is having to take an anon to the hospital because he/she was acting retarded.

- Nothing illegal
I'm more referring to sketchy unregistered stuff here. If you're bringing it please bring paperwork to show an LEO if they decide to roll up. Nobody is going to be policing everyone to make sure its all "muh ATF compliant" but its in the interest of future meets.

- If you're bringing alcohol just don't be handling firearms afterwards, also no driving etc.

- Be courteous to each other
Get a bunch of socially awkward tards in a group and hand them guns, whats the worst that could happen? But in all seriousness if you're being a dick or causing trouble you will be asked to leave. I know its possible everyone can get along AND have a good time.

Unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of trying out any of these 3 ranges so really its based on where there is a large enough campsite. I will try to scout it out before, but if any streloks have some good info please, let a nigga know.

Please note the $3 charge per vehical for range access and be prepared with that in cash.
I don't wuite know what campsite to choose yet because I do not have a solid estimate of warm bodies and cars, but be prepared to factor that into the cost as well.

Another piece of news from the last thread, tripfag Gio was nice enough to start designing a patch for the meet. However an alternative suggestion of the same design on a challenge coin was made as well, currently interest for the pacth is winning out.

Here it is in all it's glory, all credit goes to Gio.
However' if anyone could tweek the colors, maybe try out a different color scheme or a more realistic color scheme I'd like to see that.

As soon as I get a workable design with the right colors then I'll put the order in, although there's no guarantee it will make into my hands by the meet.

Unfortunately its the closest range to me and I can't realistically plan something that's far from me. Maybe in the future I'll do one in the Chattahoochee-Oconee NF.

Sorry for reposting so much of the same stuff every thread, I just want to make sure everyone gets the same information.

If anyone has a shot timer, that would be great for dicking around with 3gun shit.

Also toying with the idea of having a blanket shoot competition.
The basic breakdown is everyone brings a small gift or food or whatever to put on the blanket and then we set up a basic marksmanship competition.
>2 targets per shooter 50 yds
>2 Targets per shooter 100 yds
Everyone who puts something on the blanket shoots and then, starting from the highest score to the lowest, everyone picks something off the blanket.

Its a fun way to have a friendly competition where everyone ends up with something at the end. No limits on what you put down there either. The only rule is if you want to compete you got to put something of value on the blanket.

Also may have some other shooting competitions too, I have 2 skeet throwers so there's the possibility for a game of pickup as well.

Reminds me of my target setup.
I just have some fiberglass orange marking rid thingadooders and I use clothepins to clamp on some bigass posterboard paper whatever it's called. The rod things get hit sometimes, but they're light as fuck, cheap as fuck, and easy to set up, and they can take a few glancing hits and stay up.
