the reason they called the cops wasn't even because of the neigbors she called the cops on, she gave hell to some poor old lady and some of my friends meanwhile it was actually me and my dad firing a 30-30 at tannerite.

I have no idea what you are trying to communicate.

Yeah, the complaining lady obviously has no fucking clue what she is talking about, but discharging firearms in areas that disturb neighbours is kind of dickish too.

I mean, I fucking hate the snow mobiliers that buzz through my small rural town and I wish there was a municipal bylaw that made it against the law to....oh wait, there is. And there is one for dischargining firearms in town, and fireworks, because they are noise nuisances.

Go to the range and stop bothering people, or run for city council and defend your "rights: instead of complaining about it online.

Hell, I had the cops come out to the gun range because of a noise complaint because I was shooting tannerite, which wasn't against the rules. Next time I went out, there were new signs against using explosive targets.

If you are outside of city limits, shooting at and on your property, and are shooting in a safe manner, tell them to take a long walk off a short pier.

Of course what defines a "safe manner" is entirely up to law enforcement, so do try and be nice to them. If you are nice to them, they will usually just say shooting into a berm is safe. If they are cunts or you piss them off, they could define it as shooting into an eight feet thick berm with a clearly defined firing line, warning signs, devoid of vegitation and/or standing water, devoid of hard surfaces, and shade to prevent heat stroke induced NDs. When I shoot, I call the sheriffs non-emergency number and tell them I'll be shooting, just as a courtesy so they don't freak out about shots fired calls from my area.
