Had the same pair, just recently replaced them with these on the left. Those Earthkeepers and the pair I had before both made it a little over 2 years before being absolutely worn to the bone, and that's with walking 2-3 miles per day (around uni) and hiking every weekend or so. Very comfy, though Timbs always run big. Those were size 9 and fit great while my Danners are size 10 and fit the same way.

What should I do with my old boots, /k/? I feel weird just throwing my timbs away, but the soles are totally worn out (I don't know the terminology, they aren't worn to the leather, but you can see the material underneath the bottom layer) and the heels are almost gone. I don't think it's worth getting them resoled, but should I donate them or something.

I did 2-3 miles a day on campus for 4 years in mine, got them resoled after 2 1/2 years, kept up with the leather and they still look pretty good. Just take care of yours and get them resoled for $50-80.

5.11s are fucking horrible. The tread wore off halfway after about 2 months of very light use. Their black leather doesn't shine worth a shit either.
