Not op, and this is probably a stupid question, but what's the problem with ammo supply? Up here in Canada we just got a whole new batch from Switzerland- you can buy it in FMJ by the 480 round case (it comes in regularly), and PRVI and Sellier and Bellot make SP rounds for hunting. Is there a shortage in the US?

Large-scale production of GP11 had ended in the 1990s and the last factory was privatized. Only recently have the new owners been contracted to produce more GP11 because even the Swiss are running low on supplies for target shooting.

One thing to keep in mind about surplus firearms and ammunition is that it takes 5 years or more for that stuff to go through all the red tape and actually get to your country.

I want to be a specialsnowflake and get a zfk55, the sniper version of a k31. How much "better" would it be over a normal k31. Is it a case like the 1903 and they just threw scopes on good shooters or like the enfield where theyre specially modified
