Shotguns are fine and dandy and they'll kill you dead with buckshot or slugs in the tube.

BUT!

Using one as a primary weapon when you have other options available to you means you care more about aesthetics and other emotionally driven factors than actual effectiveness.

TL;DR combat shotguns are for mall ninjas and larperators.
