You kidding?

BetaMax felt the wrath of VHS, and was totally annihilated.

Others who wish to not share that fate give VHS a wide berth.

I'm pissed off i can't buy the 19" out of the gate
>>
>>32448941
I understand what they're going for, but the 16" versions just don't hold any interest for me when the design allows for a longer barrel while retaining a good level of compactness. Even with a can attached, the 19" guns would be about the size of a 16" AR, so it's not like they'd be totally unmanageable fenceposts or anything.

Oh. The spring is actually pretty tight so I wouldn't recommend that method although I guess it is possible. A disadvantage of the P(S)90 is that you can't check the chamber easily after cocking it. and you think a fucking PS90 SBR is the only gun I own? I own 30k worth of guns and optics.

This "debate" is just basically you fags trying to pick on a toy you can't afford.

It's very simple. The P90 is designed with specific parameters in mind. Namely: high capacity, low foot print, low recoil and acceptable armor penetration. Even with available civilian ammo, in SBR form, this gun meets its design criteria. If you want reliable expansion in soft tissue, buy Elite Ammo. If you want a more economical option, go buy a Keltec Sub2K.

Are bullpups (shotguns in this case) any more/less reliable than standard configurations? I'm seriously considering the KSG-12 shotgun (unless there are other reliable bullpup 12 gauge shotguns). Reason being its' length. It's much shorter than standard pump actions and is ideal for home defense.

I know a "good" shotgun is as cheap as $250 and the KSG is easily $1k+, but it's a 1 time purchase and if the pros seriously out weight the cons, I'm bit the bullet. (heh)

KSGs can be had for around 700. Also, I've never heard anything bad from any KSG owners. I do hear from non owners that KelTec is shit in all aspects of the universe, but the people who actually own their guns say they are good. I plan to get one soon as well. I have seen a video where these guys try to fire a UTS 15 and a KSG as fast as possible and the UTS fails to feed 3x in a row while the KSG was flawless. That's what made my decision.
>>
>>32451325
Really that cheap? Used or new? I've also seen "shotgun sleeves" for this thing and this gun seems solid all around. At least judging by the various reviews I've read/watched as well as your own input.

Hmmm, this gun just got that much more tempting. It was either this or the shortest Remington/Mossberg I could buy legally without altering. (chopping stock or barrel)

Short overall length is important to me because in the tight confines of a house, last thing I need is to be struggling to turn a 4 foot long gun around.
>>
>>32451350
I've only gotten that number from GunBroker. Cheapest is $699 brand new in box in Navy Blue. Lots of others in black under $800 though.
>>
>>32451378
I was looking around quite a bit myself and they've seem to have dropped since I last looked around. I'm seeing $750-$900 myself. They make a "titanium" finish one as well that seems to be popular. I have to see if a gun range has one I can play with first. I never buy things I can't finger fuck.
>>
>>32451378
pic related is what I was talking about with the shotgun sleeve. This gun is pretty much exactly what I'd want to do to a KSG-12. At MOST, add a small flash light.

At 6:45 they do the test to see which can put the most lead downrange quickest. On the first tube on the KSG he doesn't pump all the way but is able to fix it with no major issues. He takes quite a bit to switch tubes, but still finishes in under 13 seconds. The UTS test speaks for itself though.
>>
>>32451547
It's a tuna bro
>>
>>32451560
thanks anon I'm watching it now. The UTS-15 seems a bit stupid with the location of the switch to release the slide.
>>
>>32451590
I was surprised to find both are the same weight. Looking at them side by side, the UTS looks really bulky and heavy in comparison.
>>
>>32451599
yea it seems like the KSG is winning hands down compared to the UTS-15 (which is around the same price after looking around). KSG is
>Shorter with same barrel length as UTS
>Better slide release location
>Better reloading
>The rear compartment doesn't fly open if the gun fails to wrack the next shell

That and the UTS has lack of accessories it seems. Even finding a vertical grip is more difficult than the abundance of stuff the KSG can use because of it's rails.

That and personally the whole UTS-15's ability to feed from both tubes back and forth just seems like another potential problem after firing many shells. Something else that can jam. Coupled along with the huge gaping holes in the barrels, they're screaming "feed me dust, dirt, and grit!"

Looking like I'm buying a KSG 12.

Although some of the comments on that video said the guy firing the guns was Short shucking the UTS-15 which is why it was not feeding. Regardless, just the reasons above are enough to make me choose KSG > UTS.
>>
>>32451628
Yeah, my reasoning for buying the KSG over is because in a self defense situation, you might accidently not complete a full pump under all the stress, and nobody is gonna stop shooting at you while you stop to unjam your gun.

The cheapest designated bullpups are going to be around $900-1K, which is why poorfags like myself usually end up just getting an improvised bullpup such as:

Although there are a few (rarely found in lgs, sometimes at gun shows) bullpups that aren't too expensive but can be had for $700-900, such as the Bushmaster M17. Some bullpups may be more finicky than others.

>>

If you actuate the handle palm-up you font have to worry what's on your rail.
>>
>>32463944
alternative if you place the optic further back, you wont have to worry about which way you have to have your hand facing.
but anyway, im not arguing with you, i just stated why he probably has his optic there.

i have it back like that because of the charging handle but it doesnt need to be that far back i mostly have it there out of habit. with irons ill have to push it up a bit further. i originally had an eotech on it, just switched it out for this aimpoint.

The famas can shoot underwater?

Even with the rail bare you risk getting sliced up by the rail when going palm down. Palm up is the way you should work the AUG charging handle.

Not being able to shoot underwater is a problem kind of unique to internal piston guns like the AR
>>
>>32440038
I loled
>>
>>32464220
The problem isn't shooting underwater, it's shooting out of water with the gun full of water.
>>
>>32464323
Right that's it
I only have a short stroke piston gun
