What can k tell me about this revolver? Obviously it wouldn't be good for home defense or everyday carry but beyond that is it any good? I know it's got some cool features like the gas seal and the special ammo. What's a good price and where could I find one?

I love them. But I'm a little weird. The trigger is heavy as hell in DA. I don't mind it though because I'm stronger than the average bear. They're a curiosity at best, and not worth the prices they command today.
>>
>>32429315
Any idea where could get one for a decent price?
>>
>>32429392
Define decent price.
>>
>What can k tell me about this revolver?

They're heavy, fire an anemic cartridge that's difficult to find, and their trigger makes a Taurus, Rossi, or Charter Arms trigger seem like a Korth by comparison.

On the plus side, they have a reputation for bombproof durability and are cool. No idea what kinds of prices they command today, but, just as a guess, don't pay more than $300 +/- $50 for one.
>>
>>32429392
Nowhere. A decent price was 80 bucks. You're better off buying something much cooler. Like most slavshit, literally any of its contemporaries are better.
>>
Very quiet if you go through the trouble of a suppressor.

Used to be more prevalent than flies on shit, told everyone I could to buy when they could. Most didn't and now they regret not.

Best bet is Craigslist and people who don't know they're rarer to see now

>No idea what kinds of prices they command today,

Starts off around $180 on up. Years, markings, factory, etc can really jack up the price.

I fucking knew I should of picked one or two up when they were $99 just a few years back

It's a mechanically interesting firearm.

But the cartridge it fires is anemic, and the trigger pull...
>>
>>32429264

They're range toys, and aesthetically pleasing, but nothing else really. I like the mechanisms of it, but they're definitely overpriced.

I mostly got it though just because I had too much money to spend at the time. I don't regret buying it, however. They're plinkers with special snowflake ammo. They have a neat history behind them. I can never manage to get a good grouping on mine though just because I'm always awkward holding revolvers.
>>

What would be its modern counterparts?
>>
I think its neat but if I hadn't gotten the price I did, I would have passed. I got it for 100 about 2 years ago so bretty good. Nifty, but snowflake ammo and obnoxious reloading and trigger pull
>>
>>32429264

Really cool weapon, but not super practical
>>
>>32429713
Is the ammo hard to come by?
>>
>>32429731
Well I have a local place that stocks it usually but I haven't seen it in bog box
>>
>>32429623
Not modern, it's contemporary peers. The revolvers it would have competed with.

Husqvarnas, Schmidts, Bodeos, Type 26s, Reichsrevolvers, Webleys, et cetera.

Also the Colt 1873, the Cadillac of 19th century service pistols. Why the yuropoors tried to make a military revolver in 1895, or any time after 1873 I do not know. The colt my be single action, but it's so damn smooth and powerful compared to all those dinky little yurotrash revolvers.

They suppress super well.
>>
>>32431823
I'd buy that desu. I got two when they were 80 dollars doos and I can't figure out a good way to disfigure it.
>>
>>32429264
Fucking piece of junk, get an M70A instead if you want a cheap slavshit pistol.
>>

Those are alway more expensive than the Nagant. I do like the late 1800s style revolvers though pretty sexy.
