Need help

So refinish the stock, unbend the bayonet, and buy a replacement front handguard and sight hood. Not sure what else to tell you.

I think the only thing you need to do OP is strip the paint off of the stock, pretty sure the holes are supposed to be there, sight hoods are easy peazy to find

I've looked for a handguard but they seem to be nearly non existent, and no they're not natural, the rifle is a vz 52 if you want some more reference points.

You're gonna have trouble finding a handguard. Numrich, Brownells, and Liberty Tree might have something but I don't know how regularly. You can try Gunbroker too but again, these aren't very common things.

Leave the handguard on until you find a replacement, just check every so often until one pops up. First thing you should do is strip the paint off the stock, sand it and re-stain it to match the original color as close as possible.
Here's a replacement bayonet if you don't feel like unbending the one you have or you fuck it up.

He might be able to avoid sanding the stock. OP, try citristrip on the paint and see how everything looks first before you start sanding things
