Weaker quality metals than other BP companies like Uberti and Pedersoli. Keyword being "weaker." Piettas are perfectly functional and reliable. Black Powder companies in general make pretty good quality stuff.

What kind of lube do you guys put on your balls?

Is there some proprietary lube you should use? I heard you can just use crisco. Would that gum up the gun at all? Wouldn't it screw up the finish?
