I love unique weapons, anything bad about the FN FNAR? It's beautiful and it fires .308, I'm interested enough in it.
As I understand it, they're a bitch to take apart and rather for what they are. I rather like them, though. I'd they made an entry-level-ish version with a lighter profile barrel, I'd snap it up. As it stands, the FNAR is pretty cool for what it is, but I don't personally have a whole lot of use for it.
They're guaranteed to be a sub-MOA rifle, and they'll take it in and work on it if it's not.
Remington 7615. Not sure if they're still making them.

It's right in about my post christmas price range too. I've heard the mags are expensive as all hell, but they look so goddamn beautiful and are pretty unique
Criminally underrated gun, most people don't even know they exist.

the competition model is 50 state legal, puls it's purty.

Dad has one it's a tack driver. only issues are that it's kind of heavy and mags are like 40-50 bucks each.
Heavy as shit, accurate, no 20moa base so account for that. Significant improvement over the rifle its based on. Worth the money imo.
You can kill someone with the magazines, they're hilariously overbuilt.
For $1070 pretty underwhelming
Expensive magazines
Shitty stock
Squishy trigger
Not user serviceable in some aspects
~1000 round barrel life until 2moa
Buy an AR10 or a Tikka T3X CTR if you want a semi auto .308 or something accurate with expensive magazines.
