So, last week, two C-130s and two blackhawks were buzzing NYC and no one knows anything.

It turns out that it was all part of a rescue training mission in case POTUS Trump needs to be extracted from NYC.

So, helicopters, sure that makes sense. But, why the C-130? Simple. The C-130s would used JAL and JATO to land on the great lawn in Central Park. This is all so similar to Operation Credible Sport.

Delta would actually go in, Rangers would cordon of the area and provide security. Had a guy in my PLDC class from 1BN tell me that if the Pres was ever taken hostage in the White House, the Rangers would clear up to the Oval Office, then Delta would make the actual entry and rescue.
