I don't guess there's any chance of a mod making a thread like this sticky for a day is there?

what's this about?

Rest in peace, Lt. Gen. Mikhail Kalashnikov...
I wonder what he had planned in terms of improving the 7.62x39 when they started talking about going to 5.45x39. I hear he was against the change, suggesting that they could just improve the 7.62x39 instead. Perhaps make the bullet lighter, which would make the overall cartridge lighter, improving accuracy and increasing how much ammo a soldier could carry? How did the Yugos improve on 7.62x39 to make it superior to M43?

Dumb slavnigger that stole from the Germans and Canadian design

I didn't notice that when I posted it. Wonder what that's about?

Considering our mods are such raging newfags that the "Friendly Reminder" is its own thread instead of a reply to the old sticky.... no.

I still remember the first thread

>want to tell papa kalash he did good
>he would feel only shame knowing I paid dirty capitalist dollars for a weapon made by poor people in his country solely for potential export profit
>he would feel only anger knowing his original short range defensive design had been modified for greater long range offensive potential
Forgive me...

As I recall, I didn't find out until either December 24th or 26th. Pretty sure it was the 24th. If I was on /k/ at the time, I don't remember. I drank so much vodka. I had a legitimate 'Russian shot'.
>7 or 8 ounces (about 200-240ml) of vodka in a small glass
>Breath in, then blow out to the side
>Chug it down
>Eat a pickle
I can't remember if it was Russian vodka or not, but it was whatever I had on hand. I played the Soviet National Anthem, even drunkenly tried to sing to it with the Russian words described in English lettering so I understand it because I don't know Cyrillic or whatever the Russian language uses, and ultimately, I wept. 3 years... wow, 3 years to the day. I want a bottle of vodka... God damn it, I want a bottle of vodka...
