Sup /k/, planning on getting one of these shortly.
Now I know caliber discussions are a dead horse, but the additional factor to consider here is living in magcucked state of 10 round limits.
Therefore, considering only time living here and not when I move out to a more a free state, 10 rounds of 9mm, 10 of .40, or 8 of .45? If anybody has any experience shooting these in different calibers or even in one, I'm all ears.
>buy a glawk
Already have.

Get a 10-round .45, such as the Sig P227 or HK45 or Glock 30 (or 30S).
>>32414978
Only the Glock can be bought here of those(unless it's from another individual here), would be looking at the HK45 if not, but I've been looking at the 30 a bit too.
USP compact in .45 is god tier. Super thin, easier than a glock 19 to carry, makes slinging .45 feel like 9mm even out of a small pistol. Plus aesthetic as fuck.

I fondled the compact 9 a while back and felt it was a little small for my hands in grip height and girth, length was fine. I would have bought it anyway if it hadn't been substantially overpriced. Ended up getting the P30sk because even though it's shorter it fit my hand better and I can conceal it easily.
I'd take 10 rounds of 9mm HSTs or gold dots over 8 rounds of .45 out of a compact or subcompact.
>>32414969
I had one in 45 and loved it. If I had to do it all over again I would get 9mm because of lighter weight and cheaper ammunition.
>>32414969
I have one in 9mm I carry daily. Get whatever you can find the cheapest and most plentiful ammo. I've shot them in many calibers and they are really fine guns. Keep a look out on the used market because they more affordable.
>>32415446
Just get a p2000sk in 9mm if you are going for a carry gun
>>32415721
I generally carry my uspc and shield with me and don't have issues. Sometimes in the summer it's not so viable to carry both so I carry the shield. I agree the p2000sk would be better for carry, it's a nice gun.

Kys goat fucker
>>32414969
Didnt the SAS use USP compact in .45 or something?
Well I would get it just for that cool factor
>>32415328
Have you ever shot 45. super out of it?
>>32414969
Obviously 40
>Max legal capacity, not a pathetic 8 rounds
>deeper penetration than 9
>more girthy than 9
>thrustier than 9
>you'll need real bullets since you can't spray and pray your way out of danger like with hi-cap 9mm
All cock jokes aside, I got one of these in 40 cheap a few years back, and it's a good gun. Probably better of with 9mm, simply to save a few pennies on ammo.
10 round USP 45 is the best pistol you can get in CA
>>32417081
the only reason to ever get the USP40c is to put a .357 SIG barrel in it
357S is objectively better in every way than 40 shit and lessthan
>>32414969
USPc in .40 The USP40s shoot like other guns do in 9mm because of the buffer.
>>32418625
Except for price and barrier penetration.
>>32418651
>barrier penetration
the entire reason the USSS carries 357s is because of its superior barrier penetration
a box of .40 hollowpoints is literally the exact same price as .357s
also:
>flatter trajectory than .40
>higher acceptable pressure than .40
>bottleneck design more reliable than .40
>less recoil
>higher velocity
>>32415911
fuckin nice to see muslims on this board tbqh
What guns you got?
>>32416887
aint you got a sister to be fucking
>>32418689
a box of .40 hollowpoints is literally the exact same price as .357s
no it isn't.
Also the price of practice is what matters, and FMJ is 32$ where I am. You can't buy 1000 rounds at a time without paying rifle prices on it.
Its a great cartridge, and the best cartridge, but logistics is king.
