The subcompact Baby Eagle (Jericho) was pretty nice, I fondled one at a gun show that I'd originally visited to see if I could get my hands on a CZ RAMI. I ended up not going with the RAMI because it was chunky as fuck but the BE was in .40 so I bought a rare GP100 variant instead.

Chunky as fuck. I have one and it's the same width as a regular cz 75 but cut down to size. Looks like a tumor growing anywhere except 5 o'clock on my frame (6'4" and ~200)

A lot of the width comes from the grips on them. The aluminum grips on the competition models are paper thin but the rubberized ones are kinda thick. The next problem is the safety bumping out but it really isn't a big problem.

It's because most people here started shooting striker fired pistols and find the two different triggers as something to be intimidated by.

But really, it's because they have never shot it, tried it once and gave up because you have to put deliberate practice into managing a 12-10lb double action trigger. Worse is that nobody really knows how to teach it.

When I shoot my P226, it doesn't even register in my mind that I'm shooting two different trigger pulls.

I was in the same boat as you before I just said fuck it and got an mp shield. The kimber stuff is crap but that fits your criteria. The sig 224, cz rami, beretta storm compact and sub compact are all too bulky. The best bet is probably h&k p30sk
