If you want to read a post-cyberpunk novel that includes hive mind computing with nanobots exchanged in sexual intercourse, nano-viruses that burn out the veins of victims or blow their limbs clean off, and a ending fight scene reminiscent of the boxer rebellion with a collection of westerners fighting their way through a seething horde of chinamen with cyberpunk and nano-tech weaponry in cowboy hats and boots and proper english gentlemen with bowlers and a mustache and zulus with nanoblade polearms and israelis with skull guns and boers with scatterguns then read that fucking book. Also breif moments of a scotsman in blood splattered power armor sipping tea delicately from fine china in a japanese teagarden with cherryblossoms falling while contemplating war. Also at somepoint a young girl drives a screwdriver into her abusive stepdads eye. Once again sex computers.
