No. Much too small and geographically disadvantages, which is why it lost WWI. Germany was never a serious "world" power any more than Belgium. It was a European continental power which is drastically different.

Yes. The creation on the Euro has caused their economy to benefit above and beyond what smaller European nations could manage, but the Euro will eventually collapse, and when it does, Austria, German-speaking Belgium and other small nations will want to become client states to Germany.

The UK can't float forever from their strong finance secter, and France will eventually lose their client states in Africa to the AIIB. Norway is doing ok now, but wood pulp, and oil are finite resources.
