Rules

These are all pretty self explanatory since everyone will be grown ass adults.

- Safety (I cannot fucking stress this enough)
The last thing I need is having to take an anon to the hospital because he/she was acting retarded.

- Nothing illegal
I'm more referring to sketchy unregistered stuff here. If you're bringing it please bring paperwork to show an LEO if they decide to roll up. Nobody is going to be policing everyone to make sure its all "muh ATF compliant" but its in the interest of future meets.

- If you're bringing alcohol just don't be handling firearms afterwards, also no driving etc.

- Be courteous to each other
Get a bunch of socially awkward tards in a group and hand them guns, whats the worst that could happen? But in all seriousness if you're being a dick or causing trouble you will be asked to leave. I know its possible everyone can get along AND have a good time.

- Worst news yet, no tannerite or tracers. National forest regulation

Unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of trying out any of these 3 ranges so really its based on where there is a large enough campsite. I will try to scout it out before, but if any streloks have some good info please, let a nigga know.

Please note the $3 charge per vehical for range access and be prepared with that in cash.
I don't wuite know what campsite to choose yet because I do not have a solid estimate of warm bodies and cars, but be prepared to factor that into the cost as well.

Things that are really needed
- Targets (be it stands, steel, paper, whatever you can spare to bring)
- Spare disposable earplugs for those that forget theirs.
- Camp chairs (everyone should bring their own, but there's always that one guy)

Another piece of news from the last thread, tripfag Gio was nice enough to start designing a patch for the meet. However an alternative suggestion of the same design on a challenge coin was made as well, currently interest for the pacth is winning out.

Here it is in all it's glory, all credit goes to Gio.
However' if anyone could tweek the colors, maybe try out a different color scheme or a more realistic color scheme I'd like to see that.

As soon as I get a workable design with the right colors then I'll put the order in, although there's no guarantee it will make into my hands by the meet.

Unfortunately I have to admit that >>32385329 is partially right.

However understand that with a full time seasonal job as well as school it does not leave me much time to go visit the area in person, which would be the only way to satisfy me enough to give all those details initially.

That being said, I think that the best bet for shooting is going to be the Henry Creek range which can be found here http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/alabama/recreation/otheractivities/recarea/?recid=30177&actid=106 or by going to these coordinates 33.699235, -85.576406

Now as for camping, I would like to choose a spot that already has an established fire ring because muh leave no trace and to satisfy the forest service.

An open field nearby will more than likely be the best bet as there is a very high likelihood that there will already be an established campsite there that is not listed as an "official" campsite.
The 2 areas I'm looking at are 33.698666, -85.586706 here and, here 33.716108, -85.563187.

These offer the best bet of accommodating a large number of people and not camping in a random spot in the woods.

The alternative is the closest official USFW campsite which is here http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/alabama/recarea/?recid=30159 at pine glen campground. While this does offer more comfort overall and better access for those with shit cars, I do not think it would hold a large number of kommandos and their cars. As well as it would be invading and alienating the normal campers that use the campground. Also it costs money.

So, the plan will be that I will go ahead of everyone else the Friday and choose which campground we will use (field A, B, or pine glen). Then I will inform everyone in the groupme, which everyone who's going I would suggest be in it for shit like this, which campground we're at and how to find it.

I will be riding in with my mom and aunt who will be working the registration table. My aunt's bf is a state police and will be assisting as range officer and for security.

We will have waiver forms ready, so once you get there, sign in first thing. We will have a safe to store guns.All guns should be stored with the safety officer (my aunt, her bf). They can be checked out one at a time and the safety officer will escort you to the range.

range rules: NO bump firing, slidefire, etc. please keep 3 seconds between shots. Any safety violations, you will be removed from the line and gun confiscated until you leave the property.
