Do it the way it's pictured you would want to straighten the ends of the safety pin or something else first. Otherwise it would likely just get pulled off the wall.

You could remove the pin and balance the grenade on the spoon also, provided you don't fuck up. Could use a glass or something breakable to hold it together.

Or you could use one designed to not have a delay fuze or modify the fuze or replace it with another kind of device if you're feeling good about it.

Hmm the japs in ww2 hade Contact fuzes ?? (Idk what its called) on their nades, so basically once you pull the pin nothing happens unless the fuze gets disturbed, by either landing after getting thrown, stepped on or moved other wise, this made the nades extremely effective as boobytraps since they could be dug down with only the top part sticking up, placed under floor boards or on bodies

Idk how you would do it with a modern nade tho, place it in a tigth pocket, under the body, you goto be real carefull with that shit tho
