The last shot looks to be an exit wound near his shoulder and no blood at all, but

I was thinking perhaps he is wearing a vest that protected him from the front so the rnds didn't exit and the blood pools behind him. You can see a puddle starting to form under his head but where the rnd exited from the shoulder there should be at least some spatter though, right?
