Time for an ammo collection thread. Been a while since I've seen one of these.
Try and guess the boolit.
Post your own, the more obscure the caliber, the better.
If there is interest I will post more photos and bonus rounds.
Self-Bumping with numbered version.
I'll throw my hat in the ring.
Here's two easy ones.

>>32377491

>>32377492
Nope
>>32377491
Is the far right from a WW2 era vehicle? I'm getting that vibe.
>>32377482

>>32377548

My apologies! The left is 54R, I misread your post the first time and I've only just re read it.
Still wrong about the right though.

>>32377939
Neither as far as I know
>>32377995
OP still here and in full agreement.
anybody out there have a clue what this is in the center?
dummy pineapple grenade and nugget food for scale.
>>32378033
Not a clue. At first glance it looks like a part of a rotten tree.
If I had to guess, maybe the broken tip of some kind of missle/rocket because of the wires in it?
Got any context to give us a hint?
>>32378123
i suspect that it is from an artillery/tank/vehicle gun either in the pacific in ww2 or from some weapon used in the u.s. civil war. (although the latter is much less likely)
Came out of my grandpa's stuff (same as minnie ball in my op pic) and I never had the opportunity to ask him. Never weighed it, and thats twisted metal, not wires. It is also magnetic.

Part of me wants to say it was a HE shell, but I doubt it would've exploded like that. On the other hand, I don't know exactly what would've fired a solid metal shell, since my historical knowledge isn't the best.
Do you know where he got it from/what he did? It might offer some insight.
>>32378255
my grandpa fought the Japanese in ww2. Also collected some civil war stuff, but like I said I really believe that this projectile came later.
I have thought about it being HE, too. I really think that its shrapnel from an artillery round or some sort of vehicle.

>>32378308
It's probably the best bet considering the size.
>>32377702
What is this gun?
Here's a new one!
This one is either extremely difficult or super easy if you know what it is.
Also, I'll post the headstamp of the round that no-one guessed if people ask.
>>32378308
10 emem
Times up!
Here is the round no one could guess.
>>32378643
