Yes and not really, kind of.
Several times I picked a gun up after reloading and put it straight through the center. Then the next shot went to the left. Then I tried shooting, putting the gun down, then shooting again. I'd say 1/10 of shots go straight through the center. These pictures are of the tightest groups only, not the ones with most center shots.

I like 15yd, since it's effectively double the common 7yd. Makes it easy to compare between the two.
