What's a good first CZ for me? I have been looking at the Tristar C100, pic related, but have been having trouble finding one from retailers and LGS. Must be compact, like the C100, which is about the same size as the Glock 19

Local gun shop has a SP-01 in stock. Brand new I can get it around $600 with my discount. Should I pick it up tomorrow? I have never had a CZ75.

what holster does everyone use with there compact for edc?

Recently shot a SP-01, liked it a lot but it felt really big in my hand. Was thinking about picking up a P-01, since it felt amazing but I wasn't able to shoot it. How much impact do a few ounces have on felt recoil?

And in looking at CZ pistols, I was toying with the idea of getting s Jericho becasue why not, and that lead me to Canik/Tristar. From what I've read online, they seem to be great clones, but I'm hesitant on buying Turkish, but I'm also a huge jew when it comes to spending money.

They are great clones, but as good as they are you won't be satisfied until you buy a CZ. I sold mine after I got several CZs because even though I didnt have any complaints with it, it was just taking up space at that point.

Also, buying Turkish pre-coup was pretty shaky, buying Turkish post-coup is clearly a bad idea.

always liked the 97, but didnt make sense for me to pick up one since I have a 1911. I would jump on it in a heartbeat if they offered it with a threaded barrel though.

Nice, I doubt you'd regret not getting the RIA. I've shot a cz75 and it's one of the best shooting pistols I've ever handled. I imagine the 97 is similar. Don't get me wrong, I love my 1911, and it's a quality pistol, but the CZ is just so much more.... right.
