Thoughts on break-barrel pistols, such as the Thompson Contender?

ive got one in .223 with a 8 inch barrel, its annoying to shoot to say the least, but with some subsonic hand-loads or specialty ammo its quite fun.

the accuracy is amazing for a pistol, but you gotta be strong to shoot it one handed, it weights a ton

in the end its a fun gun. you can buy tons of different barrels for it, so you can make it soot .357, 7.62x39, .22, 45, the list goes on.
