If you must buy a Glock 19, I'd recommend w/e the .40 version is used and then buy a drop in 9mm barrel

Get the FNS or FNX dude. It's a Glock on steroids. If you decide to ever get into real tactical training, it's got front serrations for press checks, ambi controls for either hand one handed operations (in case your arm is shot), a magazine lip for one handed stripping off the belt during a phase 2 malfunction, metal mags which go in and out easier when dirty (on a side note Glock mags are SHIT at seating when they're fully loaded). Basically it's like someone took a Glock and put most of the stuff Glock fanboys spend hundreds to put on it, and it's $100 cheaper.

FNS is striker fired (lower bore axis and no hammer sticking out the back), FNX is hammer fire (more traditional gun with more modes of carry). Most prefer the striker for the consistent trigger pull and cheaper cost.
