Got a Winchester 1897 at the gun show today for 200 dollarydoos how did I done /k/? I'm gonna cut the barrel down to 18 inches and weld a bayonet lug on it. Then find some good wood for it. This stock and for end are busted

$200 for any 1897 is an excellent deal. Solid frame '97s are actually worth a bit more than their takedown brethren. I still like the takedown models more.
