stalkers always have shit terrible gasmasks, the ideal setup would be a higher quality German or American mask

OD pants, flecktarn upper over OD henley as a base layer, flecktarn parka, a black wool mask that can roll up into a hat, green GP-4(with hose) or black GP-7(with the drinking hardware), boots of your choice(but nothing in tan) smersh vest for ammo and two soviet canteens. Have a light frameless rucksack with little to nothing in it, except a wool blanket, some canned rations and a couple changes of underwear, socks, and grey cotton t-shirts. You'll also need some fire starting stuff and a decently large can to use as a stove.

have an AK of your choice, commie bloc pistol of your choice, and a sharpened AK bayonet.

the gp-4 isn't that bad, it really depends on the filter you use. although something with a drinking tube would be better, those gp-5's are pretty good for how cheap they are

just get a gp-7 filter, those are dirt cheap. do NOT get a coffee can filter or you will die from blue asbestos

Blade: Ka-Bar Marine knife
Tool: Entrenching shovel, sharpened
Clothing: If in baren waste like OP's pic, tan and olive or ATACS AU camo. BDU web gear.
Gas mask: Pretty much any one with NATO filter. Straps preferred over full-head cover
