I recently purchased a place with a storage room underneath the staircase that I can reasonably fortify and turn into a gun room. There is enough room to fit a reloading bench, a set of shelves, and some sort of pegboard weapon rack. It has in floor heating so I can't bolt a safe to the floor without the risk of puncturing one of the hoses.
I have a general idea what to do, but possession date is a month away so I have time to figure out how to make the most of the limited space.

I have about 10 long guns I would like to display on the wall like this.
Very awesome, OP. Keep us updated with pics on how it goes.
Upgrade the door first.
>still live with parents because you will never afford shit in socialist yurop
>bedroom is my reloading room
Having a workbench next to your bed is pretty comfy.

Yeah first thing is a heavy door with additional hinges facing the inside.

I've been doing it with a hand press in my apartment living room. Nothing worse than dropping a primer in shag carpet.

Still live with mom cuz lol subprime mortgage fuckup and property is selling for 5x what it's worth.

Actually, there is something worse. When you lose one of them fuckers and move a piece of furniture or roll a chair over it. If that doesn't make you shit yourself I don't know what will.

ArmoryRacks are fantastic for cramming pistols into very small shelf space. There is room under each fun for a little more stuff too, like magazines, ammo boxes or accessories.

I know how you feel looking for a house. Decided to go with a newer duplex condo area.
New mortgage rules require me to qualify for rates twice as high as they actually are. I also live in area affected from the oil boom and bust. So there a lot of guys who bought houses at crazy high prices, but are not yet ready to take the loss when selling.

I park outside so my garage is converted into my camping, hunting, and weapons area. I just store my guns in crates.

how about this: you drop a primer, your pet finds it & bites it hard enough to set it off

Damn I know that EEEEEEEEEE
>moved into a new house
>has a little shed with a built-in bench that would be perfect for reloading
>but it's full of redback spiders and I'm too scared to go in there
Hold me /k/

Fight for what's yours.

be aware that dust and grit will rain down from the stairs if there isn't drywall on the underside of them to catch it. you can bolt a safe to wall studs.

a shed full of widows might justify an exterminator.

Burn it down
