/k/ommandos in 2016 still own cap and ball guns, or faithful leaf-springed Colt SAA reproductions. Old S&W wheelguns are sought after. M1919s go for tens of thousands of dollars.

Laser guns ain't shit. They don't cause the same kind of (wicked) damage on target as a ballistic projectile or store the same volume of potential energy in as small a package as a cartridge.
