not interested in economics, real economics is done by people with PHD's with analytical research. BA in economics gets data entry. Ive been working into going into aviation, <airport operations> but could not afford to go to a private university of North Dakota to do that.

Luckily type one diabetes should not affect the majority of jobs including working for the FBI or police, though there might be some minor bs preventing something like hostage rescue or swat jobs. There have been a number of lawsuits where the type one diabetic have won against the FBI, various police agencies, etc

There are a number of federal laws preventing discrimination for federal jobs based upon physical disabilities (do hate how type 1 falls under that), it may be more difficult for local/state jobs. I have personally never brought it up until later in the recruitment process and never have had problems with it. I can do some extra digging for the actual cases and laws

Is the hiring freeze still in effect for ATCs? I have a friend of a friend who is an ATC at Atlanta and I'm pretty sure you need a very specific degree that only a small number of places offer for it.

Neat, I'm a type one as well. You could try to do the FBI. I am in their selection process, but I'm probably not gonna follow it that far through (work at a top 3 tech company thought it'd be fun to apply)
