>This report has indicated China now has two pulse production lines for J-20.

>In August 19, two Chinese J-20 pulse production lines commenced operation, The production line has five stations, each station will take 8-9 days to finish its share of works. From start to finish, it will take 45 days to finish a plane, making it's annual capacity of 36 planes per year, or 72 planes for both production lines.

>"8月19日,中航工业成飞总装厂举行“飞机总装站位式生产启动仪式”,标志着成飞总体装配进入了一个新模式。"

>"每一个站位的装配节点8到9天,用45天左右的时间完成一架军机的装配,达到交付状态。'

>Once the factory start production in full speed, every 4-5 days, there will be a new J-20 rolling off the production lines. In contrast, the F-35 factory could produce one plane per day.

The PLAAF is extremely satisfied with the J-20 after the recent excercise in Dinxing AB (Red Sword 2016), where two of them have wrecked an entire 4.5th gen group that had AWACS support (KJ-2000's AESA is upper L-band and has been successfully tested against F-22 mockups, even). It is safe to say that the PLAAF was even shocked by the effectiveness of the J-20 vs non-stealth planes. A thorough review of existing anti-stealth tactics is underway.

At this rate, China might even cut down on 4th generation fighter orders and concentrate fully on the production of J-20s.

Also, this news might have deep implications on the fate of the self-funded J-31 by Shenyang Aircraft Corp.

The PLAAF previously was uninterested to fund this medium weight 5th gen plane, and the J-31 moved considerably slower down the development lane than the J-20.

But now, after the "Dinxing Shock", a review of that programme's future in the PLAAF or PLANAF would be in order.

Anyway, leakers say that the 2.0 version of the J-31 will make maiden flight within 2 weeks.

???

The plane doesn't even work and they build like 1 a year

More than 200 at this point.

Arms Race 2 has begun in ernest.

Test radar against a small metal marble.

Radar detects it.

F-22 busted.

That easy.

Chingchong please.

They're producing about 60 F-35s a year at the moment.

>A thorough review of existing anti-stealth tactics is underway.

I'd say the J-20 would have pretty good counter-stealth effectiveness. It is equipped with either wing-mounted long band AESA or advanced ELINT that can pick up LPI signals of APG-77/81 AESAs and is equipped with new generation EOTS/IRST systems.

That's quite a redundant package of counter-stealth detection systems.

Still, they should really work on improving counter-stealth warfare. The delivery of the Su-35s will give them the chance to test Russia's latest wing-mounted long band radars against stealth planes.

Call me when that thing get engines belonging to this century.

Its quite a redundant list of things that make us aware you don't know what you're talking about.

that's where all the good open source stuff comes from.

>Another report from << China Aviation >> has indicated China has increased the J-20 production lines from 2 to 3. This enables 3 planes to roll off the assembly lines at the same time.

《中國航空報》的報道做進一步推測,殲-20生產線很可能已由原來的2條增加到3條,一批次的產量隨之提高到3架。"

"China Aviation" is a Taiwanese Aviation Magazine. In the past they have received information from the ROC intelligence from time to time again.
>>
>>32348583
To add, ROC intelligence is amongs the most accurate one about China.

After all, they understand China Mainland pretty well, and have most contacts/informants there since you literally cant distinguish them from each other anyway.

>stealthhhhhhhhhh
Hint: radars are older than planes.
>>

I don't think you're coming from the position of strength you think you are if you're calling someone retarded for questioning notoriously overstated / bullshit Chinese claims.

So how about no, fucktard

Someone even did comparative acoustic analysis about the engine sounds.

Conclusion; the J-20 appears to have previously unknown engines isntalled, based on the sound of it.

yeah, confirmed for not being a china watcher. You're a dumb fuck. Go away.

On a side note, if you're not going to analyse chinese sources, what are you going to do? Nobody else has anything at all. You think ONI is going to do a white paper on the J-20?

Like I said, you're a dumb fuck.

>yeah, confirmed for not being a china watcher.

Oh, so you think a country that actively monitors its TV in real time for any criticism of China doesn't allow exactly what it wants to be released to the public?

Naive as shit.
>>
>>32348020
At what range though? Stealth isn't about being undetectable, it's about staying undetected longest. A radar that can see a Super Hornet at 400 km will miss an F22 until 1.2 km.

The F22 is still detectable, but the problem is that you'll detect it too late.
>>
>>32349325

Uhhh do you mean every single channel? Because they don't.

Why not produce it on an actual assembly line like cars? Production of components is no different than in any other industry, the classifications might be higher and it takes more time to make certain components which can be fixed by massive parallel production.

It's kind of ironic that the J-20 allegedly being so good actually HELPED save the floundering J-31 rather than kill it.

It's pretty ambitious but I doubt, given the size of the PLAAF that they could replace every squadron with J-31
>>

Ahh, a new Chinese weapon post, time to ask the standard question. How much shit did they fucking steal from other better countries?
