Why should I take this firearm over a glock 19. I own a glock 19 already. But something just tempts me to buy a Kimber Pro Carry II. I think it just might be the way it looks even though that is kind of a dumb reason.

>Kimber
because you secretly hate yourself and want to die. Probably why you smoke too.
>>32346318
Don't buy Kimber
>>32346332
I heard that is one of the best brands though, it aint hi-point not that that's saying much.
>>32346318
Apparently Kimber is shit. I've never had one but that's what these fucks over here say and I take their opinion over most ironically
Why should you buy a 1911 though? Simply because it's one of the most ergonomic designs ever. John Moses Browning is practically a god. Everything he ever touched is gold.

It was, until recently.
For carry or for fun? Cus 1911s are fun
>>32346318
>compact 1911
just don't, regardless of manufacturer
>>32346318
>why are G19s shit?
because they are cheap shit
>I want a Kimber
no you don't, QC is hit and miss

You should get a 1911 because they're fun and that's about it. Also: they're easier to shoot precisely during slow fire than most pistols because of the single-action trigger. But please don't get a Kimber. They don't deserve your money because of their lacking QAQC. Get a Springfield or Colt, or an RIA if you want something with no frills for a lot less money.

How about Remington?
>>32348553
Don't know a thing about Remington 1911s. I don't consider anything made by Remington out of hand because of their own QAQC problems as a company (which has already been discussed to death).
>>32346318
I'm looking for a pump-action shotgun with an 18.5 inch, unrifled barrel with no choke that has notch or 3-dot rifle style sights. No ghost rings or beads: Does such a thing exist?
>>32348609
wrong bread. Sorry
>>32348553
Remington gets shit on due to QC issues. Justified, but it has become a bit of a circle jerk. I have the 1911 R1 Carry and I haven't had a single issue with it after about 600 rounds.

>are you me
Im getting a Colt for Christmas and I feel like a kid
Picked this purely because it holds that special place in my heart
>>32346318
It's almost 2017
Hammer fired guns are going the way of the dodo
Unless you have small hands, which would make operating a glock difficult (double stack mags = more capacity but wider guns)
>>32349067
Glock hasn't an answer for whopper hands too, less capacity.
>>32349369
I meant has, but my phone is not made by glock, and therefore its autocorrect is always wrong.
>>32349067
Just because a gun is old or outdated doesn't mean you shouldn't get one.
Not everything has to be high speed low drag for smooth operators.
Get a ruger 1911 instead. I don't know why but the 1911 just feels good in my hand. I don't even care about "muh historeeeeeee"
>>32349936
you mean this one it is 0.01 inch shorter than the kimber
