What kind of grouping can you pull at 100 yards with that?
>>32344255
So glad you asked
>Yes that's with CCI mini-mags
>Yes that's the best I've ever done, average is about 1.25 moa

Thats pretty good
>>32344451
Not bad for a $550 .22lr
>>32344488
Not bad at all, did you do any work to it?
>>32344202
Alright, a thread I can contribute to. Here's my VZ.58 and CZ-85 Combat.
Oldest Czechnology ITT:
>>32344566
Torqued the action screws to 45 in/lb, turned the factory trigger adjustment all the way down. The rifle is bone stock.
>>32344202
Is that a 6 inch??
>>32344566
no, not bad at all
Love me some Zastava! I have a SKS from the 60s, a CZ 82 from the 70's, a CZ 75 from the 80's and just purchased a brand new N-Pap AK this year. It's my favorite manufacturer and all are high quality firearms.
>>32344636
You ever shoot your CZ at 100?
Father and son, so to speak.
>>32345558
I'll get a VZ 58 eventually, prolly around tax time
>>32344626
4.6in
>>32345683
How do you like the bren? I want a normal weight 556 rifle but think ar-15s are dull as dishwater. Also thinking of a hk93 clone.
Also, do get a vz58, they're awesome.

I'm also looking for a 75, but now that I've experienced full length dust covers I want something more like what's in the OP.
>>32344353
Literally how the fuck did you find one? I've been looking for like a year.
>>32346511
I like it a lot, it's incredibly easy to control and keep on target, double taps into the A zone from 25-75 yards are no problem for me, that being said it is a bit boring to shoot IMHO, it's a feeling that i find hard to describe
> I wanted to be different so i put the old Czech magwell kit from CZ USA on it
>>32349016
I also just picked this up today, a VZ 52 rifle in 7.62x45, one more to the collection and a nice compliment to my VZ 52 pistol
Gonna get me some sleek trijicon tritium sights on it as next purchase
the stupid phillips screws have been replaced with hex bolts.
>>32349042
and finally here's what happens when you close its bolt on a 7.62x39 cartridge
>>32349118
fire it
>>32349045
I know most people prefer hex bolts but whats so wrong with phillips screws outside of looks?
I desire more czechnology

>>32349016
>it is a bit boring to shoot IMHO, it's a feeling that i find hard to describe
It's just the AR feeling, I know it.
That's the story of 556 rifles to me so far, and why it took me so long to find one I could enjoy properly and actually wanted to buy. Pic related is that 556 rifle with some czechnology.
>>32349759
Thats prolly it, my favorite rifle to shoot and manipulate is still my converted saiga, that little extra kick from 7.62 really gets me going, it really makes me look forward to owning a VZ 58, and maybe a semi auto UK 59 in the next year

Thinking of selling my sp-01 and buying a Sphinx
>>32349185
Hex bolts tend to last longer.
I work uses hex head bolts on every tool.
Some of these Jigs are worth $200,000 + and I don't see a single Phillips head on em
Anyone own a cz 2075 rami in 9mm? I really like the looks of it and the size when I finger fucked it. I want the all steel model.
Couldnt resist putting it with the SAM
>>32350968
I don't own one but test fired one a few weeks ago.
Wanted something smaller to cc instead of a sp-01
I like it as well, but I can't find it anywhere
Also, the polymer 2075 are junk.
The frame cracks and starts to bloat super easily.
>>32350968
Has been my daily carry gun for 5 years since I turned 21. Have put ~2000rd through it, malfunctions when you put SP-01 mags in it, and one time because I didn't clean it for 800 or so rounds.
I've used it in 15+ unsanctioned USPSA matches too, it performs pretty good for such a small gun.
>>32344202
Just got it a month or so ago. Haven't gone to the range with it yet but it feels like a glove and the action is butter
>>32344591

You can get them for low 800's pretty regularly.

It's a great gun. 100% reliable.
Most reviews are really shilly, though. It has its problems.
It feels great, but not quite as ergonomic as my sp-01. That'll depend on your hands but it was a bit of a disappointment to me.
Still can't change out the sights, which is upsetting as I do NOT care for their stock sights at all.
It's a little bulky for convincing ccw. I carry it anyway as no one in my state cares if I print.
Finish on the barrel will rub off quickly. I take great care of my guns and even so I'm really worried about the top of my barrel rusting.
Other than that, it's great. The gun is a work of mechanical art for its price. Hell, even dropping the magazine out feels like they've developed frictionless materials. Accurate as you'd expect from a swiss-made cz. 100% reliable. My cz75 was BAD for ftf's. Like, really bad. My sphinx has not had a single issue. Running dirty or wet, still is nothing but perfection.
Personally, I think it's a 700$ gun, but whatevs, I'm really happy with it and trust it with my life.
>>32350950
i've managed to strip hex, phillips, and torx. i'm kinda a caveman.
>>32353797
kinda surprised they don't have dovetails. you can always get your slide machined for standard sights though.

Any word on how good the Tristar CZ P01 copies are?
>>32353835
if going for a pasta gun isn't a bad thing to you, the Stock II/III (and Extremes) are very popular in USPSA/IPSC. they also weigh nearly 50 oz.
>>32350968
Do it.
>>32353852
Nothing wrong with pasta.
>>32354164
it's not rare extreme caviar pasta like perazzi, or v. good pasta like beretta. tanfo is good but there's a bit of unrefined-ness to the gun.
at least it's not knockoff pressed sawdust pasta like rossi
>>32350968
The CZ 2075 RAMI is one of the best 9mm compact guns out there. Good choice.

I'd like a rifle of theirs at some point, but they don't make left handed versions of their larger caliber bolt actions.
>>32355023

Every Scorpion Evo SBR I see makes me want to call the ATF and tell them to hurry upwith my cuck stamp.
>>32355195
That's a CZ-82, an overly-complicated Makarov clone. Shoots pretty well, I just hope I never have to detail strip it.
>>32344202
Sorry for the shilly light
>>32355437
Slightly better angle
>>32353797
Hmm, well that doesn't support my desire for one.
If it doesn't feel as good as a sp-01, that's an issue.
>>32355386
Future SBR with suppressor.
What exactly makes the Shadow 2 better than the SP-01 Shadow?
Does anyone make suppressor height sights for the Cz-75 or SP-01?
>>32355810
Cz makes factory silencer sights.
You should search for that.
>>32349042
is 7.62x45 available at all commercially? Do you plan to reload or is she just a safe queen?
Here's my first and only CZ, a CZ75 B Omega. I think I want to buy some wood grips for it.
>>32344202
75 B Omega. I don't have a good picture of my 527 Carbine.
>>32356305
Buffalo Arms made some on limited production but thats it on new production, anything new i would have to hand load with reformed 6.5 carcano or 220 swift brass and .308 bullets, i do plan on handloading in the near future but for now she just sits in my safe, lightly oiled and waiting for the day she can shoot again. I might shoot some surplus just to see if it still works in a few months though.

Nothing really feels as good as an sp01. the best way I can describe the sdp's feel is that as opposed to my sp01, where I get a firm pressure all around the grip, the sdp feels like most of the pressure comes from the middle of my palm at the backstrap and my first knuckles of middle and ring finger at the front of the grip. It's more of a pinch than a snug grip. Starts to feel a bit tiring after a few hundred rounds of shooting.
that having been said, I'll take my sdp over a p01 or pcr any day. cannot stress how utterly reliable this gun is.
