It's a little bigger than my Glock 20 so I say go for it.

Yup, only about an inch longer

It is, technically, a Glock 40. That would make the hood rat memes a reality. But in all seriousness, it would be doable. You would need to get a very stiff belt for it as they are rather heavy.

The pignose effect is so much more visible with the long slide Glocks. It makes it hard to love them from an aesthetic standpoint.

holster options are very limited. especially with a mounted red dot. perhaps non existent for a light plus red dot.

>Glock 40
>Red Dot
>Deleting the rear sight and replacing it with said red dot instead of using the designated slide cut out
>Not using extended height sights to co-witness for faster target acquisition/backup.

3/10, would need to be drunk

I've carried my 41 in both a shoulder rig and IWB Super Tuck style holster. Used a Galco Miami Classic 2 for the shoulder rig and prefer it. I prefer shoulder carry anyways, IWB is not very comfortable even with something the size of a shield. I got the shoulder holster for the Glock 41 as kinda "see if I could" thing and to be honest once I got adjusted to the weight it was not much different then carrying my M&P9c in my Galco Miami Lite shoulder holster that I use daily. Thing with the shoulder rig is you gotta wear a button up shirt or commit to not taking your jacket off. I wear mine under my scrub top, not ideal for the fastest of drawls but with practice and right scrub top choice I can pull up my scrub top and drawl fairly fast
