Got finals and shit the rest of this week, need to start hitting the gym starting monday next week and getting back in my old lifting schedule. Biggest thing for me is actually sticking with it because I've gone for periods of 2-3 months where I'm lifting, then I fuck up and stop for a while. For me it's worked out. If I eat two palm sized portions of meal every meal and eat the carbs when I know I'll need the energy, I find most of the other macros fall into place very nicely. Honestly 2 pieces of chicken or fish at each meal will make you full damn fast. Give it a shot, in my opinion it works better than counting. I've kind of reached a point where I know how much I need to eat, the more difficult part is making sure I have the right macros. I used to count but with an irregular workout schedule and doing other things like playing sports and training BJJ, the numbers became meaningless when my actual caloric requirements fluctuated constantly from week to week.
