A German made Sig?

No one here shoots enough for it really to make a difference between many of the major brands. It boils down to personal preference at the end of the day more often than not.

I have shot and own a essex and german sigs. I own Glocks, 1911s (from a few manufacturers) , M&Ps, Khars, CZs. My only main grip with Sigs is their flush fit mags, my palms always get pinched.

I've always liked the way they looked, but I could never justify buying one. I rented a P226 a few years ago and was thoroughly underwhelmed. For a gun that costs close to $1k, I guess I expected more. The trigger is meh. I handled an SP2022. It's nice that it's so reasonably priced but it definitely feels worse than a metal framed Sig.

So I dunno. Is there a reason to get a Sig over a CZ or Beretta?

As a Sig owner, it's mostly branding. I've got the Mk25, and it's a good gun, but if you are unwilling to pay for name, you can't go wrong with CZ or Beretta.

I honestly rather this, at the store they had this a Tangfolio and Sphinx SDP Standard. The ergos on this thing blew both away. Also unlike the Sphinx its 100% hand fitted by drunken slav gunsmiths.

I had a P320 fullsize that I used for competition. I think by the time I sold it I had about 3k rounds through it. It was nice, but nothing that great. The kits were pricey and maybe they'll come down, but it wasn't something that I was really all that interested in.

I now have a P226. Only reason I bought it is because I found it for $650 lightly used. Been ok so far. It's a fine gun and if you're in the market for a metal frame DA/SA it's ok. But the price for new ones has me scratching my head.
