Hey /k/ my 19th birthdays coming up and my dads getting me my first battle rifle. Im torn between the armalite ar10 carbine and the ketlec rfb 24 right now. I also considered a ptr91 and slr107 but pops upped the budget to $2000 for gun, scope, and everything else. What do you think?

lmao, i hunt deer and hog every now in then but mostly i hang out at my buddies dad's range and shoot on the 50, 100, and 200 yd ranges with his ar15, but I like 308 more.

Dont get an RFB, they are heavy as fuck and unbalanced.

Dont get a ptr, thats a meme gun people on here get, like a mosin. You could get an slr, but the ar10 will have more customization and be better in the long run.

Glad you could take a joke. So, you're mostly doing short range shooting. Those are all pretty good rifles, but for cost and maximizing your budget, the AR 10 is your best option. Plus cheap mags
