cause finding a the correct one will be a pain in the ass. you will find a bunch of jerichos for sale but the safety will be in the wrong spot or something else will be off with it if you want spikes.

Slide mounted safeties aren't bad.

It can be out of the way clear if you need to hit the slide release, less crowded (I find the safety getting in the way of my thumb on my CZ, if it was on the slide, I feel the gun would be slightly easier to handle).

Also being separate from the frame controls, theoretically you couldn't flub under stress and accidentally hit the safety instead of the slide release, or vice versa.

This all varies by design though.

Little caveat in a true cosplay however. the grips spike uses are an airsoft thing and they're fairly rare to find.

bought mine back in september. got the mid-size steel frame in .45acp

my complaints are that the slide is small and can be difficult to rack, I imagine that problem would be worse in wet conditions. I had a hard time finding iwb holsters for it, but it's not really a CC gun either

if you're able to owb/shoulder carry, or are looking for a range toy/HD pistol, I'd recommend it

oh come on by what, 1 or 2 oz? I've handled/shot both and my memory might be shit but it's not THAT different. Biggest thing I remember was that the 92fs was surprisingly fat/wide. Just generally bigger than I expected it to be.

You are right it's not terrible, but the 92fs is already too heavy for most folks, it really just depends on what you want. I carry it sometimes, but notice quite a difference. Course I just carry an LC9 most days

I don't care for the double action. I have a frame safety model so it doesn't really matter to me. Single action is fantastic though. As others have mentioned, you don't have much slide to grab on to. I'd imagine it would be even more problematic with a slide safety model. Also, I find it's awkward to reach the slide safety with my thumb.

Anyone have one of these? It's a Tristar T-120, turking 941 clone I think. Academy has them pretty cheap, and I think they take CZ75 mags. I was tempted to buy one, but I've never heard of Tristar. Seems like the best way to get a cheap, new production Jericho. There's also the T-100 which is a bit shorter.

Tristar is one of those east asian companies that makes ripoffs of everything and none of them are particularly good. I see there trumpets on ebay every now and again but the community consensus is that they're junk
