Starting off.
A 43 year old Korth Sport that will still do 1" at 25 meters with match ammo, and a ten year old Manurhin Sport that will do the same.
Never shot it, but it's pretty cool.

What's the point of owning it if you don't shoot it?

Awful hard to get a good revolver thread gong here anymore. To many children in love with cheap as fuck foreign weapons. The kids don't respect the old ways.
Love to put a few rounds through that Korth, do you ever go to meets anon?

Same reason you have a cock virgin. Because they are fun to play with.
I don't have many, but I do have this.
Don't have a pic of mine on my phone and I'm at work right now so Google will suffice

Are the Chapuis MR74s as good/prized? I read one guy say they were good, but not as good. A youtube video in French repeated a second hand similar statement. Neither gave any reasons why though. I know the barrel is still made the same way but same of the internal parts that were previously hand made are now CNC machined.

Like it's eyesight's going to go bad or something?
My absolute favorite is my father's service piece.
S&W 66-1, nearly 30 years on duty. A treasure I could never part with
Got this because I was too poor for a Model 19, but have since grown to love Dan Wesson. Changeable barrels are the shit.

Like it's 43 years old and wear is actually a thing dipshit.

I have no way to compare the Chapuis Manurhin with the old guns, but it's a goddamn amazing gun.
Both DA and SA are amazing, it's incredibly accurate, and you can shave yourself in the mirror finish of the frame.

Thanks, yeah, I don't know if it is true at all. It very well could be people with Mannurhin manufactured guns trying to inflate the value of their guns. Of course manufacturing has improved since the 70's and many more parts can be made by machines.

Oops. You did say wheelgun. Sorry.

You have quite the collection. Nice

Damn, son. That is a beautiful piece and a great story. What a legacy.
You need to get your dad talking and reminiscing and record it all some way.
