Yes, but there's practicality, and most Muslims are not that strict as to actually learn Arabic.

Mongolian was never a lingua franca of any of the Mongolian empires, it was just between the ruling elite. Even the original used a Turkic dialect within their own army. Plenty of Mongolians also adapted to the lands they ruled and adopted the culture, language, and religion, which included Arab lands.

The coin is not actually from Mongolia itself either, but from those exact Arab lands I mentioned. But who cares about facts.

Also, Arab script does not always imply Arabic. Mongolian has been written in the Arabic script, Urdu today is written in the Arabic script, and Traditional Mongolian is written in a script derived from Arabic.
