Got pic related today for a Christmas present for my pops. Any anons have experience with it? I would like to know what you guys think and if I made a good buy.

Best red dot you can get for at or under 100
>>

Well I paid under 100 so maybe I did good
>>
I put mine on my 10/22 and I love it. If I was putting a red dot on anything more than rimfire I would probably get a vortex sparc or strike fire.

Either way I think you did okay

I briefly used two of those.
First one I ordered had a blind area the size of almost 1/4 of the entire lens, where the dot just disappeared.
Returned it, got a replacement soon, and it had the same issue, but even worse!

Refunded it, and found an Aimpoint Comp 3M for 150€ the next week.

All recent reviews I read on amazon say that problems been addressed. How long ago was this?
>>

I've used one on an AR for about 2 years. No issues at all. It's not the best and I've shot maybe 500 rounds with it but no complaints. For the price it's solid and I would trust it for a home defense gun.

It's not an aimpoint, but you won't be disappointed at all
>>
I have one on my 10/22, it's a great red dot. My buddy has it on his AR. Holds it zero. Good 3 MOD red dot.
>>
>>32275236
dot will be too dim to use if left on for a day or two, even on the dimmest setting.

worthless for defensive purposes.

great for plinking
>>
Return it and get a Holosun HS403G
>>
>>32275236
oh, and the dot isn't crisp at all.

Not sure I believe the Holosun guys either.

Trijicon MRO or nothing.

It's just a cheap red dot I got for my dad for Christmas. It won't be held to any standards
>>
>>32275236
Not bad for what it is at all. I've had one on my AR for about a year. Only downside is that After about 1k rounds through the gun im starting to get a weird red line/reflection in the too left of the sight. Holds zero well even on a shitty mount. (also fuck captcha for freezing everything)
