I really don't know about their modern day "SpecOps™", but Chechens are well known for their warrior culture. That's all they did for the last several hounded years: fight. That's why the Russians had so much trouble when fighting them, and were forced to resort to getting one of the biggest and baddest Chechens on their side just to appease them in order to solve the conflict.

How they will preform outside off Chechnya, which is their comfort zone, I can't predict, but I would also say that they're a force to be reckoned with- if not for some kind of technological or otherwise special and unique aspect, than for their personal fighting skills both individually and as teams.

They might be Muslims, but those are not your ordinary lazy and unorganized Arabs.
