Sup /k/ I got a question for ya'll. Whats one to do for a living if they enjoy military history, like guns, like the outdoors, want to be active, but dont necessarily want to join the military? I'm in the process for becoming a LEO at a large county sheriffs department on the west coast but what are some /k/ jobs outside of LEO and the Military
join infantry

I thought about this, and being a park ranger, but what else is there? Are we really that much of niche group of individuals? is there really no other industry that can support hobbies/interests ?

>is there really no other industry that can support hobbies/interests?
No, no there isn't, your options are LEO (police, sheriff, park ranger, etc.), military, or a gun store owner. I mean there's also gun store employee and employee of a gun factory but those are pretty shitty wage jobs.
become a scientist

What they don't tell you is you get to shoot and uncooperative rocks. Pic related geologists in the field

Just join the military and do something barely military related like pararescue. Literally spend most of your time helping out stranded people inawoods

Park Ranger isn't what it used to be as a /k/ job. You need a four degree just to be an average joe, a shot ton of training to even touch the chainsaws and if you wanna carry you're gunna be a law enforcement ranger which requires it's whole other training. Basically, no one ever carries except these guys and they're basically cops.

Fuck scientists, they don't know shit.

Fish & Game seems like a pretty good fusion of /k/ and /out/.
I'd be giving that a shot myself if I weren't half-crippled.
