Revision of the Do/k/ument #2

An issue that I'm considering is the explosives issue.

I personally was unaware that it was illegal to disseminate the explosives info within the U.S. , and am uncomfortable breaking the law.

I want fellow kommandos to be well equipped in any event.
But I am not willing to risk 20 years in prison to do so. Being a rebel against unconstitutional law is best done in the public eye, not just passing out shit on anonymous platform.

That doesn't mean it shouldn't be included in the final work, but simply that I will not be the one to include it.
The person running murdercube can simply move the explosives file from the original dokument into the file that we are creating.

This is not something that's really up for debate. I am very sorry if you were looking forward to a cleaned up anarchists cookbook, but DESU it's not that hard.

So, information about the project and some decisions that need crowd input are the following:

As of right now, I have not deleted anything from the Original file, with a good bit of the contributions added,it is roughly 65 GB.
Most contributions have been determined as to whether or not they are going to be added. Some things from the original dok are still zipped. There is still a lot of trimming and consolidating, but that's small potatoes at the moment.

55 GB is WITH all the videos from the original do/k/ument. Without ANY of the video files, it shrinks to a MEASLEY ~28 GB, and that's with trimming to do.
So you might be thinking, anon WTF, get that shit out. The two main offenders are Magpul Dynamics(23 GB) and the AGI(14 GB) with some random leftovers.

I am getting rid of AGI(Gunsmithing. Like not just at home gunsmithing) for certain.
Magpul Dynamics is a different story. They have ~7 hours of handgun training and concealed carry courses, ~5 hours on shotgun training, and ~8 on carbines. That's 20+ hours of competent teaching, with drills and other helpful tools for each section. My question to all of you is do you think it should be included in the final package.

I'd rather not. Things to remember:
>Anons all over may not have good internet. We'd be cutting the size in half
>The information contained within is pretty extensively covered on youtube.
>File sharing would be way less strained, meaning more likely long term seeding


In the last thread I mentioned having 3 different editions: --Text. --Infographs/PDf & Text. --Videos included.
I'm still up for doing that, but only if you guys are that concerned with the videos.

So, we either do or don't have an edition with videos. That's a big decision. Here are some more minor issues, and stawpolls for each.

Decisions I have made or am very likely to make that you can talk about below:
1. I will not be able to download the ar/k/ after all, I checked our data usage per month and it's too high to manage. If someone wants to put up a MEGA with individual folders available for download, that'd be amazing.
2. There will be a relatively small /k/ section in all non-text only editions. Not gay shit. Stuff like stalker challenge, state konstitutions, gadsdens, etc. Maybe a few songs or relevant images. It will be small, x<500 MB.
3. I'm getting rid of a majority of the "patents" and other documents that date from before even the 90s.
4. I'm cutting the History section, no one seems to care, and no one has sent me anything.

So that should give you guys a good bit to talk about.

The farther along we get, the more reluctant I will be to add content, as I'd like to be able to give the best updates to timelines/amount/expectations as I can.

In a previous post, I mentioned January 15th as a date I'm aiming to finish by. That is not a projected date, but a goal. I have not been able to do enough work at a solid pace to know whether or not that will be accurate. It sounds doable to me currently though.

Reminder that if you have any cool skills or personal fortes, that original contributions are the best, and add character and pride to a finished project. I have a few anons already doing so.

It sounds like we will be able to seed from Murdercube, so shoutout to them for being amazingly dedicated to their craft.

I do have a job and will be doing other things over the break, so don't be worrying your little anon heads if I go a day or two without posting. If the threads die, I'll just make another, it's not a big deal. Kudos to the guys who keep it alive though.

__1: video only addendum, possibly broken into 3-4 seperate zips/torrents ir: 1a, 1b, 1c, etc.
__2: documents and pdfs only zip
__3: pictures and infographs only zip

I may be wrong, but it sounds like Magpul Dynamics would be a good thing to keep.

Unless the collective wills another series of similar videos to be used instead, I think it's a worthy addition.
