sukhoi engineers must have had a good reason not to use s-ducts, because it's not something you can put in later.

and don't try to say they "forgot". that is retarded. as with every big engineering project, every detail of the design is discussed and reviewed many times before approval. their previous prototype, S-37, did have S-ducts.

dude I linked a thread from scalemodels.ru in which some modeller gifted intake trunks to his HB Berkut,he doesn't mention S ducts nor he tried to accentuate them.

Your point? A lot of planes have s-ducts including plenty of non stealthy planes. Just like how plenty of non-stealthy planes have internal weapons bays. These aren't features that limited to or originated from stealth aircraft.
